China under the rule of the Qin.

destroyed.

§ Surviving aristocrats and rich merchants had to live in the
capital, Xianyang.
§ State officials developed a standard script, coinage, and
weights and measures.
§ Shi Huang-di expanded the Great Wall, canals and
roadways.
