Flight and Victory
				n In 622 Muhammad left Mecca for Medina where his skilled leadership brought new followers. n The Quraysh attacked Medina, but Muhammad's forces ultimately triumphed. n A treaty of 628 allowed his followers the permission to visit the Ka'ba. n He returned to Mecca in 629 and converted most of its inhabitants to Islam.
